Nairobi Technical Training Institute is proud to be ISO 9001:2008 Certified. The Institute was awarded Quality Management System Certificateon 28th February 2013 by The Kenya Bureau of Standards after auditing the Institutes Quality Management System. The Institute realizes the current need to change its training and operating environment by offering quality services.          

This Certification endorses the Institute’s commitment to providing quality services. To ensure that the services offered meet International Standards and to realize its goals in line with the Kenya Vision 2030, the Institute has a Quality Management System in place and is complying with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems. The Institute is Committed to the provision of Technical, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training. It places a strong emphasis on continuous improvement and endeavors to be recognized as a pace setter in Technical Training services.

The development of the Quality Management System is the Institute’s commitment to ensure renewal and transformation into a leading Technical Training Institute that provides quality education, training, research and innovation for the development of academic excellence. The Institute guarantees reliability for the processes that are necessary to provide all the services needed by our customers and stake holders in a consistent and reliable manner.

The Institute’s Top Management ensures that customer requirements are determined and met with the aim of enhancing customer satisfaction. In order to achieve customer satisfaction and enhanced performance through the implementation of the Quality Management System, the Institute has ensured that the Customers take the center stage and offers effective, timely, transparent and consistent services.

This has been made possible by the team work and cooperation of the Members of Staff and Board of Governors that led to the award of the Certificate. As the Management Representative, I commend the efforts and hard work of the entire Nairobi Technical Training Staff for developing and implementing the Quality Management System to ensure quality services are offered to our esteemed clients.

At the same time the Institute has a Strategic Plan from which it  draws its Performance Contract. The Performance Contract is a binding agreement between the Board of Management of the Institute and the Government of Kenya through the Ministry of Education. The Performance Contract is a management tool that strengthens the Institute’s capacity to offer quality services.

The Institute states in the Performance Contract its key result areas and its expected level of performance and makes the Institute accountable to its customers who are mainly our students. It helps ensure that services to our customers are delivered on time and in a cost effective manner.

With ISO Certification and the Performance Contract, Nairobi Technical Training Institute will definitely achieve its Vision of being A Market Leader in Technical Training, Business, Science, Research and Innovation in Kenya and beyond.
